First Consultation
I will work with you to design your chosen gown, sketching designs, looking at fabric samples and deciding on design details. This is a free, no obligation, consultation.
Commissioning a gown may not be as expensive as you think. Prices start at just £500. The cost of all notions, linings and interlinings are included in the commission figure. The cost of your fabric is on top of the commission figure. This is because bridal fabrics are so varied in price – anything from £12 per metre to £200 per metre.
If you decide to go ahead:
- You will need to pay a deposit
- I will need to take detailed measurements
Toile Fitting
A ‘mock-up' of the dress will be made in a cheaper fabric to ensure the perfect fit. More than one visit may be required if you need changes to the design or fit of the gown.
Fitting
Depending on the complexity of the gown, you will require at least two more fittings. You will need to bring the actual undergarments and shoes you will be wearing on the day to each fitting session.
Final Fitting
Your wedding gown will be completed and ready for collection. The final payment will now be due.
Bridesmaid Gowns
The design of gowns for your bridesmaids whether adult or children, should complement your wedding gown. Bridesmaids will also require several fittings.
Ball Gowns and Evening Wear also undertaken.
All prices are based on the work involved and the cost of your chosen fabrics but as a rough guide:
Bridal gowns from £500
Bridesmaid – adult from £200
Bridesmaid – child from £75
Ball gowns and evening wear from £150
